Several of the children (including Amon, Ariel and Enos) of Benjamin Elmar ALCOTT & Chloe NORTON were living in Columbus, Chenango County, N.Y. at the time of the 1850 census.
Though it seems likely, we don't know for sure if Benjamin Elmar ALCOTT ever moved to Chenango County. However Chloe died in North Norwich at the age of 86 in Enos ALCOTT's married Julia TUTTLE, children included Almon L, Julia Ann, a son possibly named Henry, and a daughter (name unknown to us), possibly more. By the time of the 1880 census, Enos had moved to Castile N.Y. as had Almon, who married Janette GIFFORD. Their children were Berton, Enos and Gracie.
We are looking for more info on this family, can anyone help?
